Saw a pic posted on here by Mikesxpress showing upgraded backup lights. Just did mine and they are REALLY bright! Easy install too!

Milo they look great! Glad they worked out for you. Now you have actual back up lighting vs indicator lamps and they look factory installed.

Do you have the mod# / info on the lights? I need to do something with mine as they are useless!

    Another option:
More actual light VS the Ranger "white marker" lamps that just shine directly behind the trailer.
And they look like they came on there from the factory vs some bolt on Band-Aide light.
    Ebay.
Been on for 3 years now.

Are they waterproof or are you sealing them yourself?

They are real backup lights normally used on large trucks so they are sealed.

All waterproof and sealed. Various brands available on ebay. Just search "clear backup lights" or "clear reverse lights" etc. You'll see all the different choices available. Some are more expensive than others. Optronics has them, but they only have 6 diodes. The ones I purchased are below and are slightly different than those pictured by Mikesxpress. Mounting was a breeze! 4 holes with stainless screws and connect the wires. Hardest part of the job was removing the OEM lights. Had to take a grinder to the lense and cut it off to remove them as I couldn't get the plastic nut loose.

One things for certain, you'll love the fact that you'll be able to see the rear end of your trailer from now on! Nice and BRIGHT!!!!

Did you have to cut the fiberglass?

No cutting needed. Run the wires from the new light though the existing hole and drill 4 holes to screw the new light to the trailer. Pretty easy modification and well worth it!

I am on my third year with these lights and no problems. For added insurance I added boat life caulk to wires on back of light.
