Bit was solid for us but I’ve been fishing 3 days a week for 6 weeks now and that helps out here

They bit good Saturday night. A lot of 16s & over 18 for first in our classic. All smallmouth for almost every limit weighed in.

That tourney they hold off the Island on Saturday nights seems like a big one. We saw them launching and were very fortunate to launch just before they came in. I know one boat said they had about 14. I think we caught two small keeps Sunday......:)
    Lot to learn.....really pretty water.

Arrived this morning. Only caught a few dinks. Missed a few more. Water is clear to probably 8-10’. Got up to 85+ degrees today. Water temp 79. I also think they’re drawing a lot of water right now. So, it’s hot, sunny, and they’re dropping the water. Very tough. Anyone have any ideas? I’m struggling with only 1 day left.

They have been schooled up for us- catch 3-4 then deadwater then repeat— deep brush and jig but size and numbers good—biggest thing is try to fish around bait, I haven’t night fished 6 weeks
