    Gelcoat before/after

I used the directions in the sticky with wet sanding/compound/etc and did a small section. It turned out really good! I then decided to try just using the 3M High gloss gelcoat compound. It looked just as good as teh sanded area so I decided to just compound/polish/wax the entire top cap. Couldn't be happier and so much easier!

Looks great !!! Just be on the watch out for the oxidation to come back if it was not sanded...not sayin it will. It’s really hard to tell what it needs from pics. Looks good though !!!

I'll keep that in mind, thanks! I have the stuff to sand it but this was too easy not to try.

just make sure you seal it with Pro-tec and it should last longer and then maybe you might need to do it again later on down the road . Looks great though
