Let's hear a little more about this smoked bluegill spread stuff. The walleye looks and sounds great BTW.

Bacon and Jalapeno wrapped walleye is one of my favorites. Have also tried different bacons, peppered, apple wood or a special one. Whenever we go on fishing trips eating our catch every day is the daily goal. Hopefully the cool down this week will get the fish a little more active for you. good luck.
    Please release me,let me go.

Walleye or crappie can be used in a chowder soup recipe too.

Hell ya...if you ever get a chance try blackened walleye. Only way I've been eating it lately as not frying anymore. Tastes much better in my opinion. I put a lil bit of peanut oil and butter in pan and blackening seasoning on both sides of fillets and a couple few minutes on each side and BAM!!! Little bit of squeezed lemon juice and serve. BAM!!!

Bacon wrapped meat of any kind sounds good! Now to catch a Walleye may be a problem here. I would definitely try it.
