Do it yourself for under $200. Double that if you're having it done.
Triple that if doing it yourself and drive a screw through the hull!!
2006 Triton TR-21 XD, Mercury 225 Pro XS, S/N 1B287870
Ball park numbers:
Hot foot - little less than $200
Hot foot slide mount - less than $100. Makes install easier and nice to have
Throttle cable - $100 if required
Install - $300 / $400
Thanks guys for the help. I’ll let him know
Had mine replaced last month $200.00 but didnt need to get longer cable also?

When I install them for my customers, I always leave the throttle cable connected to the control box and disconnect at the motor and coil it up in the battery compartment in case of emergency. I run a new one as they need to be about 2 feet longer anyway. Cable is about $30.
Depends on who’s doing the installing. I have a hotfoot added to all my boats when I buy them (4 in the last 7 years), and a standard, non-digital one runs me about $250. The dealer may be cutting me a break as part of the boat purchase....

You only need about 1" screws or the job, this guy just a bit of overkill.
I believe a local shop charged me 1 ½ hours to install the Hotfoot and the blinker trim.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.
Thats a fact..
Old friend of mine ordered a new Champion a long time ago... The local dealer rigged it and ran two of the four screws thru the hull.
After a legal battle they got him a new hull.
