    H2O Express rain gear

Anyone have their bibs and jacket? How is it for dryness and warmth? Thanks.

I have owned a set for several years. Hard to beat for the money. I recently bought a set of Huk raingear and realized how much drier the expensive sets keep you. I am holding on the my H2O set for the winter though. I really like it on Cold windy days.

This is it. For the money it dang good. No where near the $$ ones. H2O is what I have in my boat all the time because I just don't fish much.

I’m sure it would keep you warm but I wouldn’t trust it to keep me dry.

What would be a moderately priced alternative? I am more concerned about temp. as I don't really fish in the rain.

If you don’t fish in the rain then the h20 would be fine. No need to pay for expensive goretex if you don’t need it.

The softshell bibs and jacket are good, the cheaper navy blue ones are not.

Frabill F2 are pretty warm. I got the F1 stuff off of Field Supply because they’re having a really good sale right now...IF they have your size.

I had an H2O coat for a little over three years and last bad rainy TX I fished in it leaked pretty bad. This was in October last year. I bought a Gill on sale at Academy online for $79.00. It IS NOT a summer time coat. But it has been good so far.

I use a set of Frabill bibs and jacket (F3) and stay dry as a bone in any rain conditions. Considered the H20 but decided to spend a few more dollars and get the Frabill.
