Projected for cast for sunday east winds at 11mph. How bad will the west side get in terms of waves? 2footers?

It will suck. If they say 11 outta the east that means it will be 20mph. For some reason north and east hit the lake hard. My guess it has something to do with high cliff
I figured it would be unpleasant, guess I will have to run elsewhere on sunday.
if pleasure fishing I would fish elsewhere....if tournament I would run to it if you think its "the spot"....bring Ibu Profen and good rain gear it will get "sporty"

I was always told it's the reason they call the area the "Fox Valley" and that NE wind just rips down the shoot and makes life miserable on the old hag. Pretty much from late March to late April the predominant wind on the bago system is NE and whatever the forecast calls just double it. So pretty much any run from Osh north, south or east is not fun by any means and don't really recommend it unless you have both great health and boat insurance plus a world class chiropractor on call.
I don't have the "spot" to run to, I must likely will run up the river. Unfortunately I we r launching at rainbow park, so it will be a longer run
Strong west, NW are not favorable for that run just so you know. If you decide to cut the cane bed going to poygan from connee and you don't know it well and there is rough water I wouldn't recommend it because there are some shallow spots. Better off just riding the bouye line.
Can't afford expensive repairs, I always run the bouy line.
well decide to run up to orihula from rainbow park. no luck up there, ran back and caught 4 largies, within 500yds of the launch, in the last 1hr. should have saved gas and money and just fished there all day.
