    R91I Jackplate

i have a 2000 R91I and it has a 8"bobs jackplate the standard model, i am thinking about switching it out for a action series model. I was just wondering if i were change it, would you stay with a 8" model or another size be it smaller or bigger?

also are there any board sponsors who sell them you could recommend?

    Thanks

Can’t answer your question, but I have one for you. I have a 1998 R91I with a 1998 200 EFI, with no jack-plate. I have heard these boats like a jack plate, and I just happen to have a 6” jackplate off my rotted Astro. I’m thinking about installing it this winter and was wondering where a good prop height to start with would be. Any input appreciated.

Definitely a 6" plate. Wakes up that hull!
