Never had that shot, but have never been sick from any of the others. Just got a flu shot last week and all is well.

Just one more reason I don't get those kind of shots. Will take my chances.

I have had pneumonia twice in the last 8 years so my Dr said that I need it, at 67 years old. The first one two years ago didn’t bother me but the second one did!! I do guess it possible that I picked up a big at the Dr office like Mark suggested!!

yes its one of the common side effects of the pneumonia shot. tired. weakness, muscle pain. headache, but if you have rash, hives, difficulty breathing talk to your dr this could be an allergic reaction.

I have got the shot for the past 25 years. One time I had some slight symptoms that lasted one day. At my age the flu could kill me. That’s what I get the shot.

I took this years flu and the Shingrix vaccines 2 weeks ago on Tuesday. I started running a low grade fever on Wednesday afternoon and kept it thru Thursday night. The side effects of both shots are flue like systems. Never had this happen before.

Due to my immune system being not so good and my age I have gotten the shot the last two years after over 40 not getting one. Biggest reaction was my arm friggin hurt bad. And was kind of sluggish. Two tylonal and an advil made life better.

My grandmother would get the flu shot every year and then immediately get the flu. I've never had a flu shot in my life and I've never had the flu. Different people react to the shots differently, do whatever works best for you.

I am not sure an allergic reaction will last a week. I still think you picked up a bug more than likely.

They do not ise live flu to give the immunizations. There also has to be an incubation period after being exposed. It can be 1-4 days in most cases.

And then there's that. Its one of the reasons I felt like he probably got exposed to something else while in waiting room etc and that its not shot related.

A doctors office and a hospital are the best places in the world to get sick from. Think about, everybody is there because they are sick.
