Thumbs Up Transducer Shield and Saver installed

Installed a shield and bracket today on my jackplate. Still have a 859hd di unit. Was tired of replacing the plastic bracket on my transom. Looks good and solid now.

They are the only way to go. The SI/DI transducers Helix mega 12 will break the bank

You will need a y-cable and skimmer transducer to see anything on plan. The JP mounted transducer is forDI/SI.

Yeah, I figured I would loose depth readings on plane. But, depth readings 40mph and above are pretty useless anyway. Map will tell me depth of area I am in anyway.
