    Ultrex Issue

Posted this on General Bassboat Topic forum where it was suggested the questions may be better answered here. Help appreciated.

1st trip out with Ultrex, 24 volt and 80lbs. 1st issue was spot lock was on and kicked off by without moving any thing. Just quit, happened couple times.

the big issue is the dang thing quit. Blue light stayed on indicating power from battery. But could not move foot pedal and could not get the power button engaged. Blue light on but nothing worked. Brand new. 1st time using it.

its Saturday evening and will take back to dealer on Monday.

But i'm asking if this has happened to anyone here?

Typically when spot lock turns itself off then there is either a power problem or there is obstruction preventing the foot pedal from moving freely. Not sure why it would lock itself up, but if you can cycle power from the source then maybe it would reset everything. It is best you bring your troll motor to an ASC. Is your dealer also an ASC?

As said above, two things that will kick the spotlock off is a binding of the footpedal/shaft movement and low voltage. It should go to an ASC
