They are preferring the 24 Fury today, though they don’t spec propellers. If you want a Four Blade Bravo XS, then they are saying drop back one inch from your normal size selected for a Two Stroke, for the new Four Stroke.

A Fury doesn't run good on my rig either. I much prefer my tempest.

In our history of our 20’ hulls, there has been one (1) boat that a Tempest performed better on.

Was that the first generation Jaguar?

The Tempest on my 98 Jag and my 2016 PII performed poorly. I have heard it does well on some Sabre's.
I did see someone just put up a pic of their new Cougar with the new 250 v8. Ran 81 with Fury 24. That's smoking!!

Can anyone that has repowered with the new 250 4 stroke do you mind telling me what you paid for the motor? I have been quoted a couple different prices, one is about $2400 high than the other but it's in stock. Other is estimated to be about 4 weeks out.

Better get it then cause Mercs are fixing to get hard to get because of the shortage on Yamaha.

Supply and demand, if you need it pay more now. 4 weeks out could easily be 10 months out. Try and get a better price on extended warranty since the price is higher. If you don't need it keep running what you have?

I don't have to have one but if I am going to do it now is the time and it financially makes sense I think. I was just wondering what others are paying. I don't mind paying a little more now but there are places with them in stock or arriving soon.
