I know money for that stuff is supposed to be separate but that sure could help a lot of schools with teaching.

I will add...we voted in the lottery to help with schools and education but you see and hear about every teacher is out buying their own school supplies for the kids. Sounded good but where would we be in NC without any lottery money????

In school tax? I pay $900 for property, county, and school taxes. How in the hell do people afford to live in Texas? I figured it would be cheap.

Yep 8k total property tax..3k for homeowners insurance (thank you hurricanes) and 825.00 a year home owners association fees.
I auto debit grand a month into an account just to pay that stuff when its due.

How do you think 42 million dollar stadiums get paid for?!

I was gonna say its property tax instead of income tax. Here I pay about 1% a year property tax.

Mid it is anything like here. Hell no. They don’t want opinions from people paying the bills.
