This has been said plenty of times. The interstate will not hold up. Buy a X2

Same issue, mine is on a 2018 Triton. You have talked to Interstate about this?

If you would, please take a minute to review the Forum Announcements, and update your post with the Required Info. Thanks!

Also a good idea to specify which exact model battery you have (and the ratings of that battery). May be as simple as it's not adequate for the application.

Interstate 31 series AGM cranking in mine for over 4 years. No issues. Just replaced the 3 trolling motor Interstate 31 series AGM after 4 years of service and one just wasn't holding up. Guess I'm lucky.

Still running a Sears PM-1 purchased Sept 2012. When it dies, it will be replaced with an X2 or an Odyssey (which is what the PM-1 was).

The X2 solved my issues along with following the recommendations in the batteries FAQ.

My Interstate AGM 31 has been in the boat since Jan 2014 with no issues. As soon as I get back from fishing I charge it 24/7 with a MK440PC along with my 3 Sam's 31 series wet cell batteries for troller.

Sure, these old Interstates just won't hold up as stated! I just had one last 8 years no less but it was on the maintainer 24/7 except when I am gone from home overnight. I have them in 4 different boats and am quite pleased, to each his own!

They were obviously better a few years ago...mine lasted about 6 months in my 16 Ranger, it would not start the big motor after a tourney day with pumps running. Many...many recent posts of that battery failure.
