Question Wires included in Humminbird puck transducer package

I received the exchange trolling motor-mount puck transducer mentioned in my previous post. Included was a two-wire section or harness that looks like trolling motor power wiring with round connectors on one end and splice connectors on the other end, along with something that looks like the filter on the humminbird power cord in the middle. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo.

Are these trolling motor power wires? Do they need to be installed with this setup? There was no mention of them in the packaging, and the website provided no clues.

It is a choke cable that attaches to the battery charger lead of the starting battery if you have a multi-bank on-board charger.

There should be a yellow piece of paper included with the installation instructions.

Thanks Wayne. I will have to go back through the packaging and see if I can find the instructions.

Okay, instructions state to install the choke cable between starting battery and battery charger, as close to the starting battery as possible.

The existing installation includes fuses between the battery charger and the starting battery.

I assume the choke cable should be spliced between the existing fuses and the starting battery; is this correct?

The instructions state to cut off the charger battery terminals as close to them as possible. Step #3. The fuse would not be involved.
