    Tire pressure

    Help
    Single axle 518 with maxis M8008 the max on the tire says 50psi.
    Should i use that?

    Yes. My trailer tires say 50PSI, and I run that. Tread wear is balanced across the tire, and less heat issues. Tires are still good after after 15k miles.

    i would set the pressure at 47 psi due to the fact the tires grow when traveling and will increase to around 4-5 psi when they get warm.

    Lot of tires are set at cold psi , I would check what it says on the tire if it’s cold psi then put it there .

    I ran 44 psi on my 2008 goodyears. I had them never rotated been to Kentucky, ohio, Virginia, prob over 70,000 miles just sold the boat he's still running them. Hope that helps!

    Plain and Simple run what tire manufacturers print on tires. If 80 psi do 80 psi, 50 psi do 50 psi. Etc.the brand that came on new trailer is a factory suggestion, but the tires printed COLD psi is what you use.
