I've been looking at the Vexus AVX1880 the last few days and found a dealer for them about an hour and a half away from the house. Seeing as the Pro V Bass and the Basshawk are the most readily available boat that fits the bill, but it out of my price range, I've started looking at a more "traditional" style bass boat that fits the price range. The dealer I found has them equipt with middle-high range trolling motor and electronics right off the floor for about 33-35K depending on options. After watching a walk around review on YouTube it appeared that the boat was somewhat unstable (side to side) in calm water as the guy was walking around the boat. Something I'm going to have to look into, but just exploring more options. I'd like to have something in the garage by the end of May.
Cruising the internet, I've noticed a few 1850 Fish Hawks for sub-35k (non-current inventory?) that include a TM and console/bow electronics - and a couple 1850 Bass Hawks from $35 - $38 (non-current inventory?). Used rigs are still pretty scarce for the Bass Hawk and Pro-V Bass models.

I searched high and low for a predator for months and ended up driving to Illinois to pick it up. 1810SS dual console with the 115 merc. Worth it as it is PERFECT for what I wanted and only cost about $17k used.

If I end up going with a new Lund do I have the option to order direct from Lund or a dealer? If so, which is the route to go? I’ve found some new pro V bass XS models in stock for quite a few places as well, so possibly picking one up that way is an option.

I am not sure how the Bass Hawk compares to my X-190 but I either flip or net every fish since I am standing up higher than in a bass boat.
I have a 1650 Fish Hawk and it handles ALL water beautifully and since its so short and basically a wedge....you will enjoy being moist. As for being a KITE in the wind...I have no issues with new batteries and a 80lb thrust TM to keep me moving. For Shallow water....there is NOT many places I cannot get into...inches of water.

I have a Ranger 620fs and it works very well for bass fishing. It shares a lot of the same features as their bass boats. I have a Hydraulic Jack plate and the rear casting deck insert. And it handles the rough water.. I take it out on Erie several times a year for both bass and walleye.

We talking a Yarcraft multi-species that’s not strictly an all-cockpit walleye trolling rig?

This should be sooo simple for a manufacturer! We just want...
    A hull like this:

    A deck like this:

    A functional helm like this:

A comfortable, roomy cockpit like this:

And a decent fuel efficient engine:

So we can take a few friends out fishing:

That fits within an affordable budget:

That's not being unreasonable, is it??

Much simpler for me. All I would like is a deep V glass hull with a bass style interior.

    I own a 2001 Triton 205 dual console.
Large front console, drop-in rear casting deck, etc. etc.
It functions and handles like a bass boat, but can also handle big water when needed.
I bought it used about 10 years ago and couldn't be happier.
If you can find one, it would be worth your time to at least take a look.

Some of the Fisherman series boats are kinda there but they have big windshields and pedestal seats. My preference would be for more of a bass style interior/cockpit with smaller consoles and windshields and a rear deck and bass-style storage.
