    Ps22 and cone angle

When using it in DownVü does the angle seen on your screen, left to right, represent the 100deg angle?
Also I assume the stronger the signal the closer the target is to being directly under the boat.
But can you determine where the weaker signals are in relation to the boat without actually moving the boat.

Easy enough using fv but not sure on dv.

Once I get it on the water again I can probably figure it out but that’s going to be a few days so any info appreciated
    thanks

Right 100 degrees in line with the long part of the face of the xd. 20 degrees for the narrow part. So when you see a fish 20 ft away and say 30 ft deep there is still a bit of variance in precisely where the fish is. It's just the opposite of a 2d transducer. The closer to you the fish is the more variance. At about 40 ft there is very little variance. So you may have to do a bit of back and forth to dead center the fish.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
