From what I've been told, semi metallic will rust causing your system to operate poorly and deteriorate faster.

Is the hardware on the trailers metric or standard? Trying to put a travel tool kit together. Thanks

regarding hardware, i guess the answer would be both. 3/4 deep thin socket for lug nuts, 7 mm allen key for brake pads, standard sockets for calipers. Also don't buy the brake pads from Orielly's, they don't have the arch cut out for the rotor.

the 7 pin connector on your trailer is a 7 pin to 5 pin adaptor that plugs into the trailer. It will slowly stretch then all of the sudden you will realize the cover is dry-rotted and cracking in multiple spots. For most, an easy replacement part every four years. 5 or so it if splitting is OK before you change it.

Exact part at eTrailer.com is A57CCB Description is 7 pole blade to 5 pole flat and length is 94.5

You will need a 3/8oz socket to loosen the retaining screw that holds the cable to trailer.

I cannot for the life of me find 1/16 NPT zerks online that ship to Australia. I have a 2011 marine master on a Phoenix 618 that I need to do the bearings on.

You need a 1/4 x 28 straight grease fitting (Zerk Fitting). I just purchased some yesterday and they fit perfectly.

The PDF that says 1/16 grease fitting (Zerk fitting) is incorrect. You need 1/4 x 28 straight grease fittings. I purchased a box of 10 from Tractor Supply yesterday for ~$8 and they fit perfect. *Remember after you service your axle you DO NOT leave the grease fitting in.
