So here it goes hope it dont kill me. It is a labor of love. Its been several weeks so far. It looks like its gonna be several more weeks and more pics will come as I make progress.
ahhhh some more now here you can see how chalky the fenders got. the sun just ate the clear coat up right down to the metal flake. if i have any advice for boat owners with no garage it is to please cover everything not just the top cap. invest in fender covers or a tarp. or pay the price like i am now.
sorry wish i could make the pictures bigger but i have to resize it to 97 kb and to do that i have to make it a 3x3 on the resize if any tips out there let me know.
scratches and fading not sure if you can see where the red has faded and is now a two tone with flake protruding through and is rough to the touch. again the sun with the fading but scratches i will take credit for. getting a fender bumper.
couldnt get the panel anymore ranger cant get it so i had to make my own.
so after I fixed the one panel and hydrodipped it i decided to do the lowrance cover plate and then job creeeeeepp slid into my life and i decided to do all the panels. i wished i would have used k and k customs bc they could have done these while i went swimming and bbq ing. but i started the rest of the panels and then did my windshield tooIMAG2612.jpg

Reason: pic too small
I dipped the front panel i will show a pic later of the lowrance bezel painted red to atch pretty cool and then i had to take it all apart agian to spruce up the front black trim it looks faded in the picture but i used mothers black trim restore and shazam it looks good i will show pics when i get to that stage of putting them back again.
here is the windshield it had a bunch of tiny cracks in it and looked bad actually an eye sore. so i scuffed it up and primered it painted it dipped it and clear coated it and it actually looks pretty cool, I figured if it sucked i would just buy two new ones at 94.00 each.
here is a pic with y third ranger cove as you can see it is taped together and thinned out compleatly due to the sun beating on it i should have put a canopy over it all these years to protect it but you live and learn hope this all helps some boat owners out there. you can also see the fenders are black bc they were so badly faded and chalky that i had to plsti dip them whic didnt look too bad but over one years tie they needed to be re done due to fading and peeling. but i have new ones which i will show you later on when i get to that part of the re build.
