    Question Will model 898

    work with the link feature on Ultrex?

    The last update for your 898 was 6/23/15. Any of the ipilot features released after that will not be included in your unit. Some things will still work through the remote but the newer ones will not work in conjunction with the 898. Most things will work though. Bob

    It will work better with at least a Gen1 Helix ethernet capable model with software version 1.35 or greater. But you still get some functionality as Bob indicated above. I've used it with both a 998 and Gen1 units and much prefer the Gen1 version...LOL The below link will show various units and their capability with the new Bluetooth TMs:
