Got my (well my wife’s) passenger console the other day and got it installed in the boat. Really like how simple it is to take out if not needed, but I imagine it will stay in most of the time since my wife always gets cold running across the water even in the middle of the SE TX summer.

Nice looking boat. I have a question. I'm thinking about buying the exact same boat and motor. I use my boat for guiding and often have three people plus a full load. Will the boat get on plane quickly with that motor, or do you think I should get the 175? Right now I have a Z7 with a 150 Optimax, and it does fine, but I'm not sure about the 4-stroke. What do you think? Thanks.

I have had the boat loaded with 4 people and half a tank of fuel and it got on plane pretty easily, it was a noticeable difference with four people vs just me and my wife though. It was rather quick with just two of us in the boat, and even though it took longer it still was not so slow that it bothered me just didn't pop right out of the water like it does when it is just me.

Also I have the 150 pro xs and not sure how much of a difference that makes vs. the regular 150 four stroke.

What top speed are you seeing with the 23" Fury when by yourself?

Last time I had the boat out I got around 60 mph gps with just me between 1/4 and 1/2 tank of gas while in some light chop.
