    Lift ring for 115 pro xs?

    Thinking about a 4 inch micro jacker for my tin...was going to buy a harbor frieght hoist and do it myself...anybody know how you lift this motor?

    Make one if you have access to the tools. Here is one i made, alot beefier than anything your gonna buy. Lol

    Here is a link to the DIY lift ring I built and used on my 115 Pro XS. Simple and efficient.

    As far as the lifting I used the tongue jack on the boat trailer and my LIttle Giant ladder as an A-Frame.
    1. Lower the tongue all the way thus raising engine/transom to their highest point.
    2. Position A-Frame and attach chain to the lift ring.
    3. Raise tongue jack/lowering the engine/transom until the full weight of the engine is suspended from the A-frame.

    There is enough room to install the JackPlate between the suspended engine and the transom.
