I fished KY lake Saturday afternoon and used the Fenton ramp.
There was a older ram truck sitting on the ramp next to me, I was on the driver side of his truck.
He had 2 jet skis and one was already on his trailer.
He was in the process of loading the 2nd jet ski at the same time I was loading my boat.
I got mine on the trailer , hood my strap , snugged it down and turned around and his truck starts rolling backwards.
The guy hit panic mode , jumped off of the jet ski , try's to run along the truck to the door, almost got run over by the rear tire ,
opens the door and gets in with only 3 feet of cab exposed and I am yelling ....get out of the truck...get out of the truck and he climbed out with only 12" of cab exposed and the truck then went completely under.
This all happened in about 8 seconds.
Thank god he made it out safe , I was ready to jump in and save the guy.
There was nothing he could do , it was too late by the time he made it to the cab.
I felt really bad for the guy , not sure what happened, I never heard it pop out of gear or anything, it just took off, the truck was not running.
Chit happens , that's what insurance is for and the guy is safe.
REMEMBER....ALWAYS USE YOUR EMERGENCY BRAKE ON THE BOAT RAMP.
By the way....fishing was BUNK..it's the dog days..lots of baitfish
