Don’t know what I did but not seeing any chart screens nor is unit seeing the gps

GPS not connecting will cause no chart screens to be displayed unless in simulator.

Are you testing on the water?

Yes known good puck unit bought used on bbc, lake master chip inserted

The only other common things i can think of are low power and possible bad connections. GPS is affected first by power issues.

Is this your only unit? Wondering if you or a friend have at a unit you could test at the insall location .... or maybe test this unit at another know working location or a friends boat.

Page through your Views and look at GPS Diagnostic view and Accessory test and see what it shows. Can’t do this in the garage. Have to be outside where your unit can find the satellites.

I hooked up my 958 at console and gps is fine on that

Try taking out the Lakemaster chip. If that doesn't resolve it reset defaults just for grins ..... if still not working better contact the guy you bought it from.
