Does Navionics HotMaps Platinum show satellite imagery for the whole region or just..

I didn't have enough room to put the full question in the title. Does this card show full satellite imagery for the entire region? I'm thinking about buying a Navionics Hotmaps Platinum South msd/hmpt to use in my Humminbird and Lowrance units while fishing. I also use my Lowrance occasionally for GPS on my sxs when riding. I figured the added sat would be a plus but I can't seem to nail down whether the imagery is for everything within the region or just limited to around the lakes.

Can anyone assist me with this?

You can go to the navionics website and look at the maps before you purchase them...in your case select Hot Maps Platinum...here is a link to their home page... https://www.navionics.com/usa/...here is the link you want to look at Hot Maps Platinum...use the zoom feature to look at the lakes, roads and surrounding land... https://www.navionics.com/usa/charts...sPlatinum&fn1/

Thanks for the response. I see the lakes but I don't see the sat imagery within that page / link.

I did find this part but I had to somewhat navigate away from the platinum page. It shows sat imagery for everything. Just want to verify before I close the deal. https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=e...uipwElb%7D%7BP

A buddy of mine has this card and he said imagery doesn't even show around all of the lakes he's been on and the ones that DID show it, they were limited to just around the lake.

What you see on the link I provided is what's on the card. I was able to search around on the website and find the satellite view like you posted. I "think" this is just something you can do on their web page. I doubt seriously if a card shows it...just call Navionics and see what they have to say.

Post the body/s of water you are inquiring about and someone with that card can tell what the coverage is.

Reading his original question I think he is interested in a satellite view of the land because he uses his Lowrance for a GPS when out riding.
