Mercury 175 Optimax 2.5 - Wires unplugged - should they be?

I noticed these wires on the back port side unplugged. I can not find the schematics for my engine to figure out what they are and if they should be plugged back in...

The tag on ONE unplugged wire says temperature sensor. How I missed these being unplugged earlier - I have no idea. Perhaps they were unplugged because I have a SmartCraft 3.0 installed and it's not needed? Should I leave them unplugged? or plug them back in?

+1 to Joe's reply and I noticed you're missing the cap for your fuel Schrader valve. Might look in your lower cowls, if not there, any tire valve cap will work.
