    250 SHO -SPARK PLUGS

Per the owners manual, on the maintenance schedule it shows inspecting,or replacing if necessary every 100hrs.
What kind of run time are you guys seeing with yours before replacing.

That one I don't understand. Car engines run 100k, how many hours would that be. They hardly wear. Now 30 years ago the maybe 15k miles.

The Plugs run really cold in these highly stressed engines in order to avoid pre-ignition at all costs so they tend to get some buildup on the center electrode and insulator.

Different fuels and fuel additives such as stabilizers etc. can also contribute to the film.

I felt mine stumble a couple of times recently so I know it is overdue at ~200 Hours.

I have a supercharged watercraft, (Jet Ski) that also makes 250HP, but with a much smaller engine and the Recommended Spark Plug Replacement interval is 25 Hours. I don't think it has ever made it to 25 Hrs on a set of plugs!

Car Engines are Definitely on the other end of the scale from what we are dealing with.
