    SmartCraft and Water Pressure

Will a SmartCraft sound an alarm for low water pressure? Trying different engine heights and my analog gauge (Beede) and SmartCraft readout don't give the same PSI reading. For that matter, tachometer doesn't jive either. I have a 2012 225 PXS, 1B935320. I assume the SmartCraft is the accurate one.

Not sure about the alarm. Smartcraft is what the computer is reading. Smartcraft is accurate.

Thank you. Do you happen to know at what PSI it alarms?

    Just stay above 15 PSI.

The threshold varies from one calibration to another, but it is considerably lower than the 15 psi minimum.

The way I found out that my engine was too high and water pressure too low was when my Smartcraft threw an alarm.
