    Which Batteries?

I need to replace all three batteries in my Ranger 461VS.

Which brand do you recommend? AGM or wet cell? For charging purposes, do all batteries need to be of the same type, that is, AGM or wet cell?

I'm not sure it will fit; but, I was thinking about a Group 31 for the cranking battery, and 27's or 29's for the trolling motor. However, I need to watch the weight of the batteries; as, I have a 150 hp outboard.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Really depends on how you fish, how much you fish and what outboard and equipment you have.

29 and 31 are the same size for all practical purposes.

Everstart Maxx 29s are about the best bargain there is for TM batteries.

The Duracell 31 AGM at Sam's club is a pretty good choice for a cranking battery.

Plus you get to spend an extra $35 per battery for the exact same thing with a green top.

Will a regular 3 bank charger charge both types at the same time?
