    Which mercury prop for 13’ 520C with 250 Etec

    Guys,
    I keep hearing that these rudes love merc props. Currently running a 26P raker 2 with good top end 70-71 with avg load but hole shot is kind of slow. Can someone tell me what prop would be worth getting for over all better performance? Fury 3 fury 4? What pitch?

    On mine a fury 3 25p makes for great hole shot and runs 71mph fully loaded but runs into redline. I found the fury 26 to be similar to the raker 26. I think a worked fury 25 would best.

    Agree with sabby. I had 2012 and 2014 Z520s, both with Evinrudes, and a Fury 3 25-inch would turn right at 6000 RPMs with just me in the boat. I wouldn’t recommend redlining your motor frequently or for long periods, but I seldom ran flat out anyway, and with a full tournament load the prop was perfect. Definitely add 5/16th holes in front of the pvs holes to improve the hole shot.
