Prop advice on 2004 90 HP mercury on 210 Starcraft Mariner

I swapped motors on my duck boat. Put a 2004 2-stroke Mercury 90 HP on my 1989 Starcraft 210 Mariner. It had a 3 blade Turbo prop that was turning 6000 rpm and running 38. Tried a 4 blade 19 pitch solas and it was running 39.2 mph and still turning 6000 rpm. Motor shows max rpm should be 5500 rpm. What prop would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

The higher the pitch, the lower the rpm and I think rule of thumb is about a 300rpm change per degree of pitch

I think a Laser II 22" prop would work well on your motor.

I have found a Lazer II 22 pitch to try. I will report back on how it performs.

I agree, the Lazer 2, 22p should be right on compared to your old prop. What is your prop diameter? 13.25,13.5?

Finally got a chance to get out and try the 22 pitch Lazer 2 on my duck boat. It was too much prop for my 90. Ran 39 turning about 5250 rpm. Going to swap it for a 21 pitch prop at the shop I bought it from.

Swapped the 22 pitch Laser 2 for a Solas 21 pitch. Boat ran 40.5 mph at 5600. Good hole shot. Ready for duck season...
