    Z521 performance

    2012 Z521
    2012 250ProXS w/Gen 2 torquemaster LU

I have a 24P Bravo 1 XS and a 25.5P Bravo 1 XS.... I have better holeshot with the 25.5, I have better lift with the 24, both are about equal top end but slight advantage goes to 25.5.

Im getting a custom foil for my motor to try and help holeshot so I can maybe try a 3 blade again. (Main reason I went to a 4 blade, and lift)

Any recommendations for a top end prop with good lift?

A Fury 3 with three additional 3/8 vent holes drilled will give very good hole shot especially if you send it to Mark Croxton for a B&B.

With dual blades I don't think the Fury 3 will do as well as a 4. I ended up with a Fury 4 on my 521 after a lot of trial and error. Without the blades/Talons, a Fury 3 will definitely be the fastest...with them, I think you're stuck with a 4. I had better speed with the Fury 4 over the Bravo. I also added a Chris Bailey foil to help with holeshot:

Chris .......... that is probably the best video/information app I've seen to date. And I thought 'Vidometer' was pretty good.

Thank you! I actually created the app H2O Export to capture data from a Lowrance HDS unit. Then, you can use any video editor to overlay the data. I made some templates and how-tos at http://apps.network80.com. It takes the guess work out of dialing in a boat.

I'm not going to argue with Chris, but still like my Fury 3 worked by Croxton. Haven't tried the 4 but only lost 1.5mph when I put 2 poles on it, hole shot is still very good.

Nice...I don't remember the weight difference in PP vs Talons, but mine was a dog with the F3 and dual Talons (even with the added venting).
