Well it is almost Fall and I am ready

I picked up a cheap 8ft martin 3 piece 5/6 weight fly rod combo to hit the Rainbow trout ponds that open every year in Tallahassee. I posted about it last spring and cannot wait. Have not fished for trout since I left Jersey .

Really? These are imported and stocked seasonally I'd guess.
    Question everything!

Yep, the doctor who owns the ponds stocks them and raises them over the winter. He allows people to fish for them catch and release by fly for a fee then in spring drains the ponds and sells the fish to restaurants.

Man, I miss trout fishing.. Little spinning outfit, small box of panther-martin/mepps lures, jar of salmon eggs and some little hooks/sinkers.. (Everything fits nicely in the pockets of your fly vest) Loaded pickup truck/Tent/Mountain/Stream/Beer/Firepit.. Those were some fun weekends in the Va. Mountains..

That’s very cool! I’d really like to tangle with a rbt on my fly rod! Very cool!
