Question Any issues networking Gen 1 Helix 10 Si with Gen 2 Helix 12 DI mega?

Planning on replacing 1198 at bow with Helix 12 Mega DI/GPS G2N, which will be networked with Gen 1 Helix 10 SI. Are there any known issues with this setup?

    Thanks

    No "issues".
CHIRP is part of the model name of the G2N units. BUT you cannot share sonar data between units with CHIRP turned on.

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know if you have to ship the transducer to Humminbird before they will send a TM puck, or will they ship the puck and credit your account when they receive the original transducer?

I have seen both scenarios posted. Have to call and see what they will do.

The main thing is do they have any in stock.

Jim (Brown Trout) and I both did pre-orders.
Mine took just shy of 2 weeks and his was about a week.

FYI - called humminbird and they told me I would receive trolling motor-mount transducer 10 to 14 days after they received my original transom mount transducer.

I was given the option to purchase the TM transducer and have it shipped today and receive a credit for the purchase price and sales tax when they received the transom mount transducer from me. I chose this option to expedite the process, hopefully it will go smoothly.
