Mine is doing it more and more and I have to step on it to get it to shut off. Seems to be a common issue? Do I understand right that I lay the foot pedal on its side and somehow make an adjustment to a magnet? Thanks

I’m having the same problem with mine. Occasionally mine will also turn on when I’m not on the pedal and I have to step on the button to shut it off. I’m going to contact the local ASC tomorrow and see if it’s an easy fix.
Should be an easy adjustment....a search on here will have your answer.

It's a simple adjustment to the reed under the button. A search hear should give you the instructions.
