2008 optimax 115. 1B550538. Just bought this boat from supposedly reputable dealer. Has 100 hours on it. Compression was checked and the salesman took me on a test drive where the boat ran very smooth and had a great holeshot. We where out about an hour. Fast forward 1 week and I go to take it out this morning and it just cranks and won't start. Fuel bulb is hard, opening the tank fill cap makes no difference. Promised the wife this wouldn't happen again and here we are with a broke boat again.

Did you turn the kill switch "on" without the lanyard in it? Sometimes the loop is too big, and the switch has a hard time switching to fully "on".
Is the battery fully charged?
