    1998 Ficht 90 Spark Plugs

Last year I bought a boat with a 1998 Evinrude Ficht 90 outboard, model number E90FPLEEC, serial number G04543482, engine family X1PXM0105220, non-pinned heads, ~600hr total. Now I want to replace the spark plugs and there seems to be a lot of different information available. What I have found our so far is

Installed: NGK 3741 PZFR5F Laser Platinum (picture of removed plug https://up.picr.de/33832552cd.png)
    Emission control label: PZFR5F
    ´99 service manual: NGK PZFR5F
Most other info on the net: Champion 7712 (QC10PEP)
Some info suggests the QC12PEP might work better than the 7712 also in non-pinned heads (seahorse in http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....ll=1#post81167)
For larger Ficht V6 engines the QC10WEP can be used (http://continuouswave.com/whaler/ref...gChart2008.pdf)

My current understanding is 7712 (QC10PEP) is the safe bet, QC12PEP might work a little better, QC10WEP lasts longer but is for the larger V6 Fichts only. Is this correct? Could I use the QC10WEP also in the smaller V4 Ficht? Advice and maybe even an explanation why would be really appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Michael

Your motor is a 1999 model year "EE" no where on the plug chart does it say there is a optional plug for your motor. 7712 is the plug to use. The 7712 plug is not the same as QC10PEP that is part #958.
    30 5000547 SPARK PLUG, Champion. Use 5001111 for 1998/99 90 & 115 hp Use 5001866 for 1999/2000 200 & 225 hp Use 5001111 for 1997 and non-updated 1998/99 150-175 Use 5001211 for all other 1998/99 updated with pin heads 4 Not Available
Part number 5001111 is Champion part number 7712. The parts manual is confusing during these model years as they were constantly changing the motors.

Thank you ChampioNman! Not only the parts manual is confusing. Trying to order #7712 (in Europe) I find

https://www.sparkplugs.com/Quickwatch.aspx?zpid=8396 lists #958 as QC10PEP (as you say)
https://www.sparkplugs.com/Quickwatch.aspx?zpid=8346 lists #7712 as QC10PEP (https://www.championautoparts.com refers to this when looking to buy #7712)
    https://www.ebay.at/itm/Champion-QC1.../362163534533? lists #7712 as QC12PEP
https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/champio...rk-plug-7712-1 says "Champion Marine Spark Plug Part Number 7712, QC12PEP"
    http://www.fme-cat.com/overlays/part...lug&brandId=CP says #7712 is plug type QC12PEP
    http://www.sparkplug-crossreference....-Plugs/5001111 says the BRP 5001111 is a Champion #7712 or QC12PEP

    So #7712 #958 QC10PEP and QC12PEP are really all the same? ;)
Or are they close enough so it doesn´t matter what I order?
