    Diawa Fuego TD

Is this Fuego TD better than the ones that are out right now? Just seems like the one's right now are priced pretty cheap and I don't remember this reel being cheap at all. ThanksItem # WX2-114566

I know it had been discontinued quite some time ago. I have an extra one with a extra spool but sure can't find another on for sell.

I have 2 of the new Fuego LT's. I'm disappointed in the flex and would not buy another, especially for $100. Reel works fine unless you subject it to heavy loads. I use mine for drop-shot.

The one pictured is probably (most certainly to me) a better reel.

I bought a couple of these as well as the Sol when I worked at Sportsmens Warehouse several yrs ago. I think the big difference is these discontinued reels is the magnesium. Didn't get much of a pay check after my 30% off discount. lol

I was able to find a tackle tour review which gave me all the info I needed on the Fuego and the Sol. Forgot these were fairly spending when I got them.

Magnesium body, non-real four, and worm gear oscillation, IIRC.

Line lay is very close to what you would see in the SS Tournaments, granted the spool design is different.

I had a 2000, and it was my 6lb fluoro finesse reel.
