Trim goes up but didn't go down...until

Was finishing a tournament and had to leave the livewells and aerators running for quite a while. Batteries were pretty much dead. Couldn't turn the motor over with the cranking Battery, and when I put the boat on the trailer with the trolling motor I tried to trim up the big motor. The big motor trimmed up, but wouldn't go down. I assumed it was a relay.

Fast forward one week later, motor goes up and down without a problem. The only thing I did was charge the batteries.

Doesn't seem right, what do you think I should check? Should I just replace the relays anyway.

That's exactly what I did today. Right now it still works fine.

i had a similar problem last week , trim had a hard time going up and down . hit the button
and nothing....hit it again and its work....hmmm. so i changed both relays and it works great
now.
