Out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone has had any experience running a 4 blade prop on an X19? Currently running a 23P Tempest Plus on a 175 SHO.

I do and I like it, I'm still tweaking on some things like the hook on a couple places and putting a 10" jack plate instead of the 6".

Two wrongs don't make a right , but three lefts do.
You will run slower, But have a better ride and control.

I am running a 4 blade Power Tech TR04 (Trophy copy) on mine. I would go to a 3 blade for more speed but I don't think I'm going to get much more out of mine.

I run a 4 blade 25p trophy on my X19. I probably give up a couple mph but I like everything else it does.

What's the rule of thumb switching from 3 blade to 4? Go down 1 or 2 pitches?

No I’m running a 135 hp. It has a good hole shot, handles good, and stays on plane at low speeds also.
I am running one of Croxtons 24xl 4 blades. The prop is excellent in all areas except top speed. I have at 27 T-1 for that. It is rarely on it. Your boat should spin a 24 trophy with no issues. I have ran a lot of props and the trophy is hard to beat on these hulls. Cj
