Had a "pop" in the foot pedal today as I was backing away from a bank line. I did not hit anything in the water and the trolling motor still functions correctly except for steering. Here is a picture of the underside of the foot pedal...any ideas how to fix it?
Is it still under warranty. You can not buy just the steer cable on the X series troll motors. They are moduler. The whole harness has to be changed out. Best to bring to a repair shop. Will set you back a bill.
