What transducer to select? Xi5 built in ducer with adapter for 1197c

Hi guys -

I have 2 1197's and the one on the bow i am only going to use 2d sonar. I bought the adapter to get it into the humminbird but im not sure what transducer to select in settings. It is working on the trailer but showing 1500' deep. generally with the HDSI ducer it shows 1 or 2' and acts normally.

Does it matter what ducer i select?
