Screen Recording

I’m sure I’m just missing the feature or not going into the right menu, but can someone please explain how to record the screen on a GPSMAP unit (1040xs and 1242xsv)

If you are talking about sonar recording that's:
From the 2d Sonar screen
Menu->Sonar Setup->Sonar Recording->Record Sonar

If you are talking about a screenshot. Press and hold HOME until you see the screen blink.
