    920 or 721?

Is it worth the extra money for the 920 or will the 721 get it done? I am looking at both I have heard both are fast and stable.

The 721 will get it done, so will most models. It all depends on your preference between each boat. Crawl around each, make the decision

This...I went with the 721 loaded up because I could get more for my money and the boat is longer. You lose a LITTLE width at the tip, but it's nominal. Only you can really decided which one fits you best.

you looking for/at a new boat or used boat? what year/s? The new 721s are wider at the front/bow than the older 721s.

I had a 921 and now have a 721. It is noticably narrower but hasnt been an issue at all so far. I was shopping for used boats and could get a 17 721 for the same price as a 15-16 920 when loaded tge same. I chose the 721 and havent regretted my decision at all. In the end youre the only one that can make tgat decision

It's my understanding that the new 721 is just as wide at the bow as the 920, etc.

I looked at both side by side. Went with the 920 but the 721 is narrower. I would have been happy with either

    I have a 921. I would go with a 721 instead of 920 if I changed. Money not a deciding factor.

Anyone close to a dealer who stops in regularly? I have an idea. This question seems to come up a lot and I think posting a visual aide would help. If someone could stop by and take a front deck picture of both, we can impose the image together showing the difference and just how much differently, or not, that it is shaped. I say someone stop by instead of people posting individual boat pics because it takes the variables out and the same person is taking pictures in the same position.

    721

    920

    921

Sorry not the best pics, just what I had on my phone. I can tell you from being in each what you notice is the lack of width at your feet, esp with rods on deck, on the 721 compared to the 920/921. From the 920 to 721/921 you notice the lack of deck length, as rod tips either hang off further or are closer to your feet (pushed towards bow) on the 920. Also the differences are not as noticeable in the pics compared to being in each in person.

The 921 is the best of both words, width and length, but you give up some speed, about 2-3 mph. I cant decide which I want to order either, leaning towards the 921 but each can be the best for your particular needs... decisions decisions!!!

Thanks J Risco.... I currently have a 2011 721 and love most everything about it, just wish it was a little wider up front. Struggling between getting a new 920/20PHX or another 721 with the 4S Merc.

Remember the new 721 is a bit wider than yours, but still not as wide as the 920/921. If there is a dealer near you I suggest calling to make sure they have the models you are considering in stock and then making the trip to actually stand in each. Bring a few rods to lay on deck to get the full effect
