Thanks for the pics. Maybe someone can do better as I'm not great with this but I think you can see the two together. The black overlay is the 721, the silver is 920. Honestly that isnt as much difference as I was expecting.

I rotated it and fixed the angles in mine and lined up the console along with the compartments. Your picture is showing the 920 as longer so I think one must have gotten resized or its how the picture was taken.

Yeah the pics were definitely taken at different angles. Taken at different times and not with doing this type of overlay in mind also. I'll try to get some more precise pics of each this week.

Been really busy so I havent taken any more pics, but I did get a few min to measure the new 721.

    Front Deck measurements
    A) @ console
    B) @ front cleat
    C) @ center of TM recess
    D) Length from console to edge of bow shroud on center line

    721 (original):
    A) 76"
    B) 64"
    C) 41"
    D) 90"

    721 updated front deck:
    A) 76"
    B) 66"
    C) 43"
    D) 90"

Since I didnt take the original measurement I dont know how exactly they were taken, so this might not be an exact comparison, but looks like the updated 721 deck carries about 2" more width forward compared to the original design.

There is still a significant difference in the new 92X and 721 at the bow when you stand on the deck and put some rods up there etc - numbers are helpful but if possible you really need to get in one and fish from it. My partners and I can fish two guys shoulder to shoulder on either side of the foot pedal on my 921 - I absolutely love all the space. The only thing I would change to would be a 922 if they ever make one!

This is absolutely true. I have fished shoulder to shoulder on the front deck of a 921 also, it is massive. Numbers are one thing but perceived size difference is bigger/roomier than the numbers suggest.

So I tried to get the same exact pic of all these models by standing on the center console and extending my arms all the way out at a 45 degree angle and taking pics down til I got a centered one of each. Hope these work for overlays.

pretty close for freehand. I dropped the 721 on top of the 920, angles a little off with length but very close

Yeah the 721 and 20phx were the only one indoors, I realized when I took it I couldn't get my hands quite as high, so the angle is a bit off making the 721 look a bit shorter than it actually is compared to the others.

I have a 721 and my buddy has had 2 920. He swears the 721 rides better. I believe it’s from the extra length. I personally wouldn’t sacrifice the extra length for what little width you get

Smh. The "little width you get" is almost identical to the little length you get. 4-5".

Awesome post with the overlay pics.

    The 721 does ride better.
