    Prop help

    I have a 2008 192 super pro procraft with a 2000 merc 200 efi
I'm running an old 25p tempest and my WOT rpms are about right at 5800, but my hole shot sucks. With 2 ppl it barely gets on plane. When i do get it on plane the bow digs more than normal until I trim it up from lack of bow lift. Prop to pad is about 4.5 inches, but I'll double check tomorrow. Was thinking about going to a 24p fury. When I tried out a no name 4 blade 24p prop a few months ago it seemed to perform much better and I could take my motor higher on the hp without losing water pressure. Any recommendation?

A 25" Bravo XS will work well on your boat, and holeshot great with any load. And the 2.5 motors need to turn 6000 - 6200 RPM's to run best. Those boats usually have good bow lift. If you don't have a plate, a 6" plate is all you need on that boat.

So you think if I'm turning the 25 tempest 5800-5850 I'll turn the 25 bravo that much faster?

Probably around 6000 with the Bravo, usually about 200 more RPM with the same pitch.
