    Y'all stay safe down there.

Here at Santee, we are good, light rain light winds 15 to 20mph. And never lost power.

All good in Mt Pleasant SC. Georgetown and Winyah bay are due to take it pretty hard this week with the runoff but they've been prepping for this so hopeful they have all they need.

Santee Copper trip in just over two weeks. How were the lakes effected by Hurricane Michael?

How much rain did Santee get? Any flooding, and do you think it will have a lasting effect on the fishing?

I have Lake Kissimmee as a backup, but really wanted to fish Lake Marion.

Thanks. Any intel will be appreciated.

Lots of rain in the Columbia area (5 to 7 +) so the upper end might get messed up.

Rising and cooler water will push them shallow.

Anyone fished the upper end in the past couple of days?

Might the lakes recede to normal levels over the next two weeks?

Thanks cidgrad. I was planning on the upper end of the lake. Do you think things will shake out over the next 2 weeks?
