    Trickstep???

Anyone have a TrickStep installed on your Ranger trailer and if so, what's your opinion of its craftsmanship and would you recommend it or not? Is it worth the price?

Same here...love mine on my 519. I have noticed it can hit your bumper if you cut your turn too sharp. Just keep that in mind when backing into tight spaces. It makes in and out so much better and is very stable.

I will never have another boat without a Trickstep or an Ultrex. Best two pieces of equipment I have purchased for my boat. Both make my life easier!

I have a 2003 521vx and it is the best thing I added on my trailer. It really is awesome for getting in and out of the boat. Good for loading boat on to trailer or just hoping in the boat to get something out. I LOVE it and the guy is awesome to deal with you can email him and he will contact you if you have questions. All my friends love this thing also they are gittin one soon too.

You can hit your bumper. Did it twice, went with a longer hitch that sets the ball a couple inches further away and no more problems. Love the trick step. Very well engineered and easy to install. I will never have another boat without one.

Mark will walk you through everything, including if your model is apt to hit the bumper. Mine would have to almost jackknife to hit, other models not so much. He builds a great product. I weigh 250 now, but I weighed 285 when I put the steps on. They are solid!!

Like Squire said, a different draw bar will fix any problems with the bumper.
