    MercMonitor level 1

So i have a level 1 mercmonitor and just purchased a Lowrance elite 7 Ti. If i want to get my 250 ProXs info on my Lowrance unit all i will need is a N2000 starter kit then plug the mercmonitor into the back bone

How old is your Elite7? Initially the Elite series did not have NMEA2000 nor the capability to display engine data. Newer versions have both but I do not know when that switched over.

What you will need is a T and drop cord for the Elite7 (and one each for other Lowrance units), a T for the MM (it already has a drop cord), terminating resistors (2) and a switch to kill the network when sitting at home. The MM can supply the power to the network.

Its a brand new unit that supports engine functions. So basically will a starter kit do it

IF your Elite 7 supports engine-data on NMEA-2000, a Starter Kit will get the job done.

In the past, the Elite series have NOT supported engine functions (it could see the MercMonitor, but would NOT communicate with it). Have not, to date, found ONE Elite series that would (yours might be the first).
